Gloria Isabel Ramos Triano has composed since her youth,
but always as a subordinated activity to her conducting engagements,
yet achieving  a nurtured cataloge, with numerous premieres and recordings,
some works having been conducted by herself on the podium,
with ensemble and with orchestra,
both with and without soloists.
In recent years, Ramos Triano has devoted herself intensively to composition,
to develope a personal musical language,
exploring the possibilities of new instrumental techniques,
and how to integrate them in different harmonic and textural structures,
as well as trying to expand the complexity of rythmical solutions.
